Dr. Nomie grew up in Gresham, OR where he developed a passion for dentistry. He always knew that he wanted to do something that involved medicine, but he had a desire for art. Initially, Dr. Nomie, was drawn to the engineering field, but soon re-adapted that interest towards dentistry – where he found that he can apply his interests of medicine, art, and engineering in one field. His aspiration for dentistry was solidified during a Give Kids a Smile event at Oregon Health & Science University, where he volunteered and helped as the dental students provided care to underprivileged children.
Dr. Nomie received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ, and understands that dentistry is a growing field that requires continual education. In addition to being proficient in various aspects of dentistry, Dr. Nomie is also affiliated with the following dental organizations:

Today, Dr. Nomie lives in WA with his lovely wife, Amanda, and their beautiful daughter, Layla. He enjoys spending time with his family, and catching up with his friends. Travelling and scuba diving are somethings that he has always enjoyed, and would like to further explore.

Esther – Patient Care Coordinator
Esther has been with us since February 2015 and loves her job and the people she works with. Esther graduated from Kelso High School in 2009. She is married to Juan and enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her family. Esther helps our patients by getting to know them and following their care. She helps our patients make dental care a part of their busy lives, and we’re glad Esther is a part of our team!
Hannah-Patient Care Coordinator
Hannah started with Longview Family Dental in October 2018 as our Patient Care Coordinator. She graduated from Rosevelt High School in 2009. Hannah started in the dental field in 2016 as a dental assistant in Oregon. She enjoys comforting patients and providing the best customer service for patients. When Hannah is not working at Longview Family Dental, she is enjoys remolding her home and spending time with her family and three dogs.
Kristen – Lead Dental Assistant
A graduate of the Charter School Dental Assisting Program, Kristen joined our team in February 2014. She enjoys caring for our patients and working with our wonderful team. Kristen has three daughters and has been married for fourteen years. Her hobbies include lots of outdoor activities like camping and hiking, and most of her time is spent with her girls and their sports.
Lindsey – Registered Dental Hygienist
Lindsey has worked as a dental hygienist at Longview Family Dental since March 2015. Lindsey is licensed in Oregon and Washington with both a restorative endorsement and a nitrous oxide endorsement. She is reliable, communicates effectively, and is a team player. Lindsey enjoys working with people from the community and with her other team members at our office. Lindsey, her husband, and her son love spending time together, and Lindsey likes to read and attend Seahawk games.
Savannah-Registered Dental Assistant
Savannah has been in the dental field for five years. She graduated from Charter College in Vancouver and has lived in Kelso her entire life. She enjoys exploring the Northwest with her family, and visiting everything from the beaches to the mountains when time permits. She truly enjoys her job and helping people.
Hey! I’m Amy. I started on the job training as a dental assistant 2 and a half years ago. Not only do I really enjoy the work but enjoy helping my patients even more. Making them feel comfortable and at ease while at the dental office is very important to me ,as well as leaving happy and having them become a life long patient. I have 4 beautiful children with my other half, and we love to spend time outdoors hiking and fishing.
Amy-Restorative Dental Assistant
Amy has been in the dental field for over 25 years! She has a wonderful husband, four children, two dogs, and a cat. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling! Amy joined our team January 2019 as our Restorative Dental Assistant. She loves changing smiles and giving patients the best dental experience possible! She looks for to many more years providing excellent dental care with us.
